In the framework of promoting cooperation between the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) and Regional and International Finance Institutions, the President of the African Development Bank Group, H.E. Dr. Akinwumi Adesina paid a visit to BADEA’s Headquarters in Khartoum, today Tuesday, February 28, 2017.
During the visit H.E. Dr. Sidi Ould Tah, the Director General of BADEA and H.E. Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, the President of AfDB Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The Memorandum will enhance the technical cooperation between the two institutions, particularly in sectors as vital as, infrastructure, agriculture, water and sanitation, private sector, environment and human development.
Both leaders reaffirmed the importance of their partnership and mutual collaboration for reaching Africa’s Sustainable Development Goals and promote Arab-African Solidarity
